Manguinhos Beach is located on the continental side of Búzios, facing Formosa Bay. Stretching for about 3 km, it features shallow, calm waters and a relaxed atmosphere, and is especially famous for its beautiful sunsets.
Sea conditions
The sea is usually shallow and calm, protected from open ocean swells. This makes Manguinhos ideal for stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking and windsurfing. On windy days, particularly between autumn and winter, kitesurfing is common near the Formosa Bay side.
